Over 23 CD’s have now been released featuring songs co-written with students in a cooperatively, collective way.

Students choose topics from America to character traits like respect, responsibility, trustworthiness and the history of Washington to the history of water.

Then there’s the favorite topics which include mothers, family, friends, pets and Sponge Bob.

A Letter to Us

Buck, Elizabeth & Peter too,

we're having a ball with the three of you.

We think your show is so sensational

and very highly educational.

Buck, as a writer, you are great

to make our song you stayed up late.

You're so great on that guitar

to us you are a superstar.

Elizabeth you look like you have no fear

you dance and sing so sweet and clear.

Dancer, singer, signer and more

we'll cry when you go out the door.

Peter your funniness really flows

and we think your talent really glows.

Peter you're an incredible guy

you make us laugh until we cry.

We thought you were really in a zone

and are glad you didn't stay home alone.

The whiteboard's boring, the lunch line too

we'd much rather hang out with the three of you.

Thanks for coming to Coulee City School.

We all think you're really cool.

We hope you'll come back next year

to fill us with some fun and cheer.

Coulee City 4th grade students, December 2004
